My career path began in the world of information technology after graduating college with a business degree. Along the way, I felt a call to vocational ministry, which led to receiving a masters in Theology, training in hospital chaplaincy, and serving in various bi-vocational pastoral roles in local churches. After many years, my natural inclination to genuinely listen to others led to a focused sense of calling to seek formal training and receiving a masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

I believe every person is a living, breathing, sacred story. In our sessions together, you are invited and encouraged to begin to share the current issues and struggles of your story, in a gracious, safe, and confidential setting. My role as a therapist is to come alongside to help you explore, track, and honor your story with all its highs and lows, joys and victories, struggles and losses. As we work together to understand the emotional underpinnings of the outward actions of our issues, you can experience
freedom and healing which enable results that endure and provide a hopeful tomorrow.

Areas in which I specialize, through life experience and professional training, are sexual struggles and pornography addictions, compulsive behaviors, grief, loss, anxiety, stress, depression, passive-aggressive behavior. If you are struggling in any of these areas, please know you are not alone!

Given my personal relationship with Jesus Christ, theological and ministry training, spiritual dimensions can be included in the therapeutic process, if you so desire. While I practice from a Christian worldview, I respect, and work with clients from all faith traditions.
