ABOUT
Julia Story
As a teacher during the pandemic, I witnessed firsthand the profound impact mental health has on a person’s wellbeing, relationships, and daily life. The same passion that inspired me to support children in the classroom now drives my work as a counselor, where I strive to help individuals build resilience, find balance, and create meaningful, positive change.
I’m passionate about walking alongside individuals as they navigate life transitions, relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, and postpartum mental health. I believe therapy can be a powerful space for healing, growth, and self-discovery. My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in the belief that you are the expert of your own story. I use a blend of person-centered therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients process difficult experiences, gain insight, and build practical skills to move forward with confidence.
Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply curious about what therapy could offer, I’m here to support you. I believe everyone has the capacity to heal and become the best version of themselves, and therapy is a courageous first step. I’d be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.
