ABOUT
Stephen Gravois
From a young age, I knew I wanted to pursue a career that involved helping others, but never understood what that entailed. It wasn’t until my own experiences with mental health concerns that I truly saw the beauty and impact that counseling had on my life.
Starting therapy can feel scary at times. I offer a safe and supportive environment to talk about the things that feel heavy, painful, and confusing. I specialize in a variety of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and stress management. My counseling approach is eclectic, including, cognitive-behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, solution-focused therapy, and eye movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR). These theories of counseling are not explicitly faith-based; however, I am comfortable with integrating faith into your counseling if that is something you are looking for.
Life can feel overwhelming at times. I am here to walk with you as we work together to process through the things that feel unbearable – you don’t have the bear these things alone! Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me to set up a time to talk. Together we will work to create a plan geared towards healing, support, and positive change.
