I have always enjoyed helping professions and appreciated the relational aspect of being in a community of people. My journey from childhood to now has provided lived experiences from chronic illness to cancer caretaker, and walking through my own healing of perfectionism and anxiety with the help of others in the counseling community. Walking through various highs and lows in life has provided a foundational purpose for my desire to help others.
As a therapist, my goal is to create a trusting relationship with my client through genuine communication. From there, my passion for helping others flows! The approach I take in the counseling room is collaborative, focusing on helping clients work toward a fuller understanding of self and how you relate to everyday life, while building tools to help you thrive. I want clients to feel empowered, mindful, and able to find their pathway to healing and fuller mental health. Through various therapeutic modalities, ranging from Meaning-Centered to Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, we work together to help gain insight and hope for mental wellness. It is my sincere hope to provide an authentic and trusting environment to explore the difficulties that you’re encountering and provide stability and support as we work together toward hope and healing.
