Madison Waller

Originally from Colorado, I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Colorado in 2019. After graduation, I moved to Texas with my boyfriend, where I have been pursuing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

Before beginning my counseling career, I spent several years as a teacher, an experience that strengthened my passion for supporting children and adolescents both academically and emotionally. I am currently completing my clinical internship at Fort Worth Counseling & Intervention (FWCAI) while finishing my master’s degree, with an anticipated graduation date of December 2026. I have also recently been selected to serve as a school counselor at a private school in Fort Worth, where I look forward to continuing my work helping students thrive. I am passionate about working with children and adolescents and believe that meaningful healing and growth begin with feeling safe, understood, and accepted. One of my favorite aspects of counseling is observing how children communicate and process their emotions through play. I enjoy helping young people develop confidence, strengthen coping skills, and navigate life’s challenges in ways that honor their unique strengths and personalities.

My goal is to create a warm, supportive environment where children, teens, and their families feel comfortable exploring  challenges, celebrating successes, and building resilience together.

Outside of counseling, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, iced coffee, staying active, and exploring all that Texas has to offer.
