Denise Lopez
Do you struggle with negative or ruminating thoughts? Do you worry often or struggle with past hurts or have feelings of not being good enough? Denise helps individuals who are seeking to change negative or unhealthy life patterns.
Denise received her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Tarleton State University, she is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). During grad school she interned at Sante Center for Healing where she co-led Intensive Outpatient Groups and worked with families of addictive clients. Denise believes addiction affects the entire family systems and can help you break through generational trauma.
Denise understands the importance of a therapeutic counselor/client relationship. She has a passion to serve others and has realized her purpose includes helping others when life becomes overwhelming. Denise is engaged in active listening, is empathetic, and focuses on a goal-setting approach to help you navigate through challenging life events caused by work, relationships, or addictive behaviors. Denise is a Level II Certified Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapist (AEDP), a therapy model that focuses on a belief that we are wired for growth and healing. She is also a Shadow Work Facilitator in Practice. Let Denise help you grow and heal to become the best version of yourself.
