Kimberly Knox

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate under the supervision of Dr. Russ Bartee, LMFTS LPCS

Specialties: LGTBQ+ issues, teens and adolescents, depression and anxiety, marriage and family, blended families, grief and loss.

History: I’ve always wanted to help people, ever since I was small. I completed my undergraduate degree at Texas State University in San Marcos and after working for several years, I decided to go back to school. I picked up and moved to Malibu, California and received Pepperdine University’s Master’s in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy program. While in school, I worked as an LMFT Intern at Project Impact in Lynwood, CA, providing in-home counseling services to a wide variety of individuals. I also worked at Counseling Partners of Los Angeles, working in a private school, counseling teens and adolescents and their families.

My desire to help others has always been part of my life, from volunteering to helping a friend in need. I’ve always seen myself working in a helping profession, and to see my dreams come true has been a gift. I have always been passionate about helping others be the best person they can be, and I am determined to walk with clients through their toughest times.
