Kelsey Vick

Licensed Professional Counselor

Specialties: Children and adolescents, play therapy, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, relationship and life challenges, parent coaching, obsessive compulsive disorder.

History: From a young age, I was able to witness my parents genuinely serve others in and out of their job. Observing their selfless dedication fostered my passion for pursuing a career in counseling. For 10 + years, I worked as a nanny, and quickly realized one of my strengths included working with children and teens. I earned my Master’s degree at The University of North Texas, the largest play therapy training program in the world. Throughout my training, I also gained invaluable experience at Children’s Health eating disorder program, day treatment behavioral program, and an outpatient private practice setting. Although I specialize in play therapy and working with teens, I also enjoy working with individuals throughout the life span.

I believe in tailoring treatment to each individual as we all have unique needs and goals. I hold a high value in collaborating with my clients and aim to provide you with tools, skills, and insight to help you overcome the struggles that led you to therapy. Acknowledging and asking for help is not always easy, whether for yourself or for your child. Through our relationship in therapy I strive to shine light on your strengths and help you work toward growth!
