Specialties: Couples and families, teens and adolescents, spiritual trauma/deconstruction, depression and anxiety.

History: Throughout various times in my life I have played the role of both therapist and client. In times of great suffering and immense joy, it has been my experience that sharing with someone makes a world of difference. This idea is what led me to pursue a degree in Psychology in undergrad. Through my own personal and educational development, I became fascinated with the idea that we are all part of various systems that foster a deep sense of connection or conversely, dysfunction. Coming to terms with this meant packing up and leaving the great state of Texas to attain a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at a university in the mountains of North Carolina. There I was able to study and understand how to help people facilitate change in their own lives and the systems in which they exist. This experience was life changing for me. During my time in grad school, I worked with several different clients such as court mandated substance abuse outpatient groups, families in crisis, women struggling with depression and anxiety, as well as groups for individuals with borderline personality disorder. After graduating, I moved back to Fort Worth and quickly began working with children in foster care and their new families navigating intense trauma, family change and culture shock.

All of these experiences led me to here. Helping others find meaning in their lives has given me a great sense of purpose, and I can’t imagine using my time on earth in any other way. No matter your struggle or wound, I am here to create a safe space for you to heal.
